Job Description


**Responsibilities:**


+ Design Training: Design relevant training content based on business needs. Partner with Sales Coaches and Sales Leaders to identify training development needs, gather data, and design key learning for training and feedback.

+ Develop Training: Leverage the appropriate tools (PowerPoint, Camtasia, Allego, Adobe Acrobat, Publisher, etc.) to craft the appropriate material for live classroom, webinar, video, job-aid, etc.

+ Evaluate Training: Assess the effectiveness of key training initiatives using surveys, analyzing results and/or collecting performance measurements

+ Deliver Training: Deliver vendor and proprietary training using a variety of platforms including live in-person, live and recorded webinar.

+ Set instructional end goals and create content that matches them

+ Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product

+ Analyze and apply trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design

+ Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process

+ Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)

+ Devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course


Required Experience:


+ Minimum two years of training design and development experience In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models

+ Lesson and curriculum planning skills

+ Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts

+ Associate or Bachelor?s Degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar relevant field

+ Insurance or sales background a plus


Proficient in PowerPoint particularly and MS Office / Windows environment, and tools such as Brainshark, Knovio, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, etc. Familiar with both ADDIE and Agile / Rapid Instructional Design techniques. Familiarity with the Allego platform desirable.
