Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Aircraft Integration Engineer supporting the Test and Training Division, AFLCMC/EBY.  This division consists of F-16 Full-Scale Aerial Target (QF-16),Air Force Subscale Aerial Target (AFSAT), Target Control System (TCS), Common Range Integrated Instrumentation System (CRIIS) and the P5 Combat Training System (CTS). Their mission is to provide integrated test and training capabilities.

Job Responsibilities:

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Support planning, developing and procuring test resources required for weapons program testing - to include target and aircraft integration required to operate test resources in support developmental testing (DT) and operational testing (OT)
  • Lead/Assist in the acquisition of threat simulator systems and associated support equipment
  • Lead/Assist in the development of air intercept, electronic attack, and infrared payloads
  • Lead/Assist in the development of target platform requirements to meet emerging threats
  • Lead/Assist with solutions for integration and required documentation for configuration changes (Technical Order Management and Interface Control Documents)
  • Coordinate with the Air Force SEEK EAGLE office and Aerial Targets program office to obtain test resource flight clearances
  • Support writing statements of objectives (SOO), statements of work (SOWs), and performance work statements (PWS)
  • Prepare briefings and reports in support of program development and testing activities
  • Evaluate contractors? technical proposals
  • Assemble and integrate the technical portions of requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Participate in design reviews and other program reviews as required

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS and MS in Engineering and 15+ years relevant experience; or Ph.D. Engineering and 5+ years of relevant experience
    • ABET-accredited
  • Secret clearance

Additional Information:

  • Must be able to travel as needed (approx. 10%) and able to rent/operate rental cars while on travel
  • Effective communication skills both orally and in writing
  • Must be a US Citizen
